BISCUIT CAKE / INSTANT CAKE / EGGLESS CAKE

vegetarian cake

First of all many thanks to my dear friend Aarthi ( Durga ) ( Husband's Cousin ) for sharing this recipe. She is a very good baker. When I asked her for a Easy chocolate cake recipe, immediately she shared this recipe with me.  I tried this and it turned out well. So sharing this great recipe with you all. You all will be very surprised to know the ingredients used in this cake. Here you go for the Instant Eggless cake recipe .....

Ingredients :

Parle G Biscuits / Any milk Biscuit - 36 No.s
Hide n Seek Biscuits / Any Choco Chip biscuit - 18 No.s
Dairy Milk Chocolate  ( Plain ) - 6 Pieces
Milk - 300 ML
Baking Powder - 1 & 1/2 Teaspoon

Method :

In a blender add parle G, hide n seek biscuits, dairy milk chocolate, baking powder and grind it to a fine powder. Then add milk ( boiled and cool down to room temperature ) little by little, and mix well. ( Make sure the batter consistency should be not too thick nor too thin ) . Pour it in a greased baking tray.   Make sure the batter fills 3/4th of the tray, so that it has enough room to raise.
Pre-heat oven to 200 Degree Celsius and place the baking tray inside, after 10 minutes reduce the temperature to 170 Degree Celsius, and bake for 15 minutes or until the Biscuit cake is done. You can check by inserting a toothpick in the middle of the cake. If it comes out clean then the cake is done. Otherwise keep for some more time. Easy, Tasty, Instant Biscuit cake is ready :-)

Notes :

Adjust the milk accordingly as biscuit size may vary.
Make sure the batter is not too thick nor too runny ( thin )
I greased the baking tray with butter and dusted with maida / All purpose flour.

Do try this easy cake recipe. I am sure your family will love it. It's a great tea time cake.
