CHAPATTI NOODLES / ROTI NOODLES

Roti noodle

I had some left over roti's / chapathi's, and wanted to try a different recipe out of it. This Chapati noodles idea came up on my mind, and tried it immediately. It came out very tasty :-P so thought of sharing the recipe with you all. Do try this easy n healthy recipe I'm sure your kids will definitely love this.

Ingredients :

Chapatti / Roti - 6 No's ( Cut in to thin finger size strips  )
Onion - 1/ 2 Cup ( Thin Slices )
Carrots, Capsicum, Cabbage - 2 Cups ( cut in to thin strips)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 Teaspoon
Green Chilies - 2 No.s ( Finely Chopped )
Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoon
Tomato sauce - 2 Table Spoon
Chili Sauce - 2 Teaspoon
Lemon Juice - 1 Teaspoon
Soy Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
Spring onion - 2 Table Spoon ( Finely Chopped )
Olive oil / Cooking oil - 4 Table Spoon

Method :

Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions and green chilies, saute with a pinch of salt for a minute add ginger garlic paste, and saute till the raw smell leaves. Then add carrots, capsicum, cabbage, required salt to it and mix well, and saute until vegetables are half cooked. Now add pepper powder, tomato sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, little salt and stir well, then add the chapati strips to it and toss well ( Keep the flame in high ) add lemon juice and spring onions to it, give a quick stir, and serve hot. Tasty, healthy chappathi vegetable noodles is ready to eat :-)

Notes :

you can add red chili powder and coriander powder or Sambar powder in place of green chilies, and lastly adding coriander leaves to it.

You can omit onions and ginger garlic in the recipe, and can make the same way by sauteing the vegetables alone with pepper powder and sauces.

You can try it with tortillas too.
